Pantone Matching System (PMS) colors are standardized colors used in printing to ensure consistency for your brand. If maintaining color consistency is important for your branding, PMS colors provide a standardized reference to help achieve uniformity across different print runs. However, using a PMS code does not always guarantee an exact color match across different materials. Just like paint colors can appear different based on sheen or surface texture, the same PMS color may look slightly different when printed on fabric, plastic, metal, or paper due to variations in absorption, finish, and lighting.
